Due to the COVID-19 situation, Raffles Hall's annual CCA fair - held in order to introduce our CCAs to the freshmen and to entice them to sign up - was moved online. One new feature was the creation of an online CCA booklet featuring the different CCAs.
I wrote this copy to inform readers about the IR team's responsibilities, with the intent of catching their interest and persuading them to join the department.
What Is it?
As part of Raffles Hall's Publicity Department for Hall Promotion Board, part of my responsibilities included copywriting for our hall's Instagram captions - aimed at updating the current residents on our events, as well as outreach to potential freshmen.
Captions
Given the nature of our target audience, comprising of current and incoming NUS students, we strived to ensure that our posts and captions were engaging, so as to capture their attention. This created a lively persona surrounding our hall, branding ourselves as a vibrant community to be a part of.
